Bio
Vincent Wu is a director, story artist, and animator of short live-action films, feature animation, animated short films, and experimental videos. He started learning art including different types of painting and Chinese traditional instruments when he was nine years old in Putian City, a cultivated city on the southeast coast of China.
In order to pursue his passion for films, he studied Film and Animation at the China Academy of Arts in Shanghai and SVA New York from 2014 to 2021. He has a strong sense of film language and colors. He is an art expressionist who wants to explore his personal feelings and viewpoint in every film.
In addition, he practices Zen, and brings the idea of mindfulness to all his work.
